About Us
Who we are
Our property is home to 8 Campdraft horses 10 dogs a couple of cats and one Gpig! We have 15 rolling acres with dog proof perimeter fencing allowing our adult dogs to roam free all day. We have built a fully insulated heated/cooled puppy homestead with surrounding playgrounds protected by elm trees and shade sails where puppies can romp and explore the outdoors. We have a lovely grassed area where families can come and interact with their puppies on pick up or as they grow.
About Lara
I was a born animal lover so a career in Vet Nursing was a natural fit for me after school. I worked in Vet Hospitals all over Australia while travelling Oz and added grooming to my repertoire. I set up my dog grooming salon Lara’s Shear N Shed which for the last 21 years has been located in Orange NSW on the grounds of the Orange Vet Hospital.
This is where my love of Cavoodles began as the breed became more popular in my salon I could see the Cavoodle was the perfect family pet due to its loveable easy going spunky nature and low allergenic coat.
In 2016 we started to develop an ethical boutique Cavoodle breeding program focusing on producing healthy sound highly socialised puppies, raising them to be confident outgoing youngsters.
Our aim was to breed on a small scale keeping it personal and breeding a “type” of Cavoodle that I found to be suited to the family environment. The female line I breed originates from our matriarch and all time favourite queen of our dogs “Buzz”.
